Hi,

I have a self-signed Certificate authority I created w/ openssl. Is it
possible to install the CA cert site-wide via group policy?

Thanks,

You can publish it into AD as a trusted Root. You can also install a
Enterprise Subordinate CA using that cert you created so you can give users
(or computers) certificates. To install that, you also need to register the
AIP and CDP into AD. You can also use autoenrollment thru GPOs if the
issuing server is 2003 Enterprise.

Check the microsoft.public.security.crypto newsgroup for more information,
specific help and how-to's.

Instead of the website you're using, I suggest to use OEx (Outlook Express
or any other newsreader), and configure a news account, pointing to
news.microsoft.com. This is a direct link to the Microsoft Public
Newsgroups. It is FREE and requires NO ISP's Usenet account. OEx allows you
to easily find, track threads, cross-post, sort by date, poster's name,
watched threads or subject.

Not sure how? It's easy:
