I belong to an internet mailing list of about 400 people. We are looking for
a way to easily share files without any limit on bandwidth.

BTW, we tried http://s2.yousendit.com/ but often got errors after exceeding
bandwidth limitations.

I didn't notice anything about bandwidth limitations on their site.
Would you mind explaining that a little more please ? Also, what is
the greatest number of people you have sent a file to using their
system ? In other words, the most people you have put on your
To: line.

Hi!

I'd try Xdrive. It's basically an online harddrive. You can make
files and/or folders in your space public and then email the link to
everyone on your list. You can get 50MB for free, a 500 MB 15 day
free trial, or more space for a fee.

The thing is that the free 50mb accounts are sort of hidden. After
you sign up and get the confirmation email, the link in the email
brings to you a page with "Not ready to give us your credit card yet?"
at the bottom. If you click on that, you'll get to the free accounts.
Just let the people on your mailing list know tht, and they'll have
no problem.

space. You upload yoru large files to your Xdrive, share the file
and/or folder, and then just email the hyperlink to people on your

There's always gonna be a limit on bandwith. Have you looked at Yahoo
Groups?
