OK - forgive this really basic question but I can't find the answer anywhere ( except from Sue in a 1998 article
If you mark a Contact Private using the checkbox on the contact record, does this make the record private to the creator/Owner?
I have been told that this simply creates a warning message upon emailing the contact - to treat the contact as private. I have also been told that it does make the contact private to the owner/creator but only if running the "corporate version" of Outlook
I want to set up a public contact folder to share prospects, clients and general business contacts with team members (based on exchange folder permissions), but also to track my personal contacts using the private checkbox.
