I have a Win2000 laptop configured to work within a corporate domain and want to print at home to my local PC running XP with Workgroups enabled. The network is up and running ( can ping between both PCs and can get to the net) but I can't get past MSFT securiety.

Can you mix a "Domain" configured laptop with a home "Workgroup" ?

How do I open up the home Print server so it is visible to the Laptop? ( "Sharing" the printer doesn't make it visable)

Thanks in advance.

If the Internet Connection Firewall is enabled you will need to open the
sharing ports.

You will also need to enable the guest account on XP. If you run through
the Network Setup Wizard on XP this will be configured.
