printing

On two old printers, I was getting only garbage or bits
of old files, parts of which had been printed earlier.
Thinking it was the printers, I bought a HPlaserjet 1012.

There is a USB connection that I believe is correctly
installed.

I got a repeat of the problem so I delested all the five
printers that were available to me and reinstalled
HPlaserjet 1012.

Now, I can get nothing printed.

What to do?

Did you include Step 4 in your uninstallation of ALL printers?
