This article describes how to add a "print directory" feature for folders
in Windows XP. After you follow the steps in this article, you can
right-click a folder, and then click Print Directory Listing to print a
directory listing of the folder's contents.
But what about actually printing the documents contained
within the folder? For example in a folder
called "Company Profiles" I have 10 documents. Each one
is a company profile. Is there a way to print these
without individually going through all 10. (by the way,
ctrl-a, right click, print doesn't work). Thanks again!
Yes you can. Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the folder. Open it so it shows all the files and click the first file then hold down the Shift key and click the last file. This will highlight all the files you want to print. Click on "File" top left of the window and click Print. This will print all the files that you have highlighted one page after another. Just be careful that you don't overload the spooler of the printer with too many files, most printers will hold 2 megs.
