I am currently using two PC: One using Win XP (Home Edition), 2nd usin
Win 98 Se. My Printer is connected to the second one. Both computer
are connect to a Dlink router for internet access as well ( that was m
intention ) as for sharing the printer.

I have not been able to find a way to use the printer from Win Xp. I
seems that the printer driver already install in Win Xp for my printe
isn't working ?

Any Idea how to solve this ?

Thanks

Tomm

On the XP PC, from HP's website download the drivers for Windows98 for the
Deskject 820. Expand the file.... although it may start to try to install,
don't worry, it can't get much further. Just remember where the
unzipped/expanded files go.

Use the Add Printer Wizard. Browse to the printer on the 98 PC and tell the
XP PC to add it. It will, of course, ask where the drivers can be found.
Point it at that folder into which you expanded them!
