I have 3 computers networked on XP. I have a Win 2000
laptop also on this network. I can access the Internet on
all machines, but cannot print from the Win 2000 machine.
I can see the other computers from the 2000 machine, but
cannot add printers. When I search the network and try to
add a printer I get a message that says "There are
currently no logon servers available to service the logon
request". I had been able to print before, but last week
it just stopped. HELP!

Joe, have you tried posting this question on one of the windows 2000 groups
if no-one can help you here. The problem seems to lie with the 2000 machine
rather than the xp ones.
Are you sure win 2000 doesnt think its trying to connect to a domain server
rather than a workgroup.

I've posted it there as well, but no one has responded.
The machine does try to think it's attaching to a domain
server (the server as work), but I think this is the way
it was set up before when the printers were working. I
can see MSHome (the home network), just can't see the
printers.

I'm sorry, I don't know. But if it were my pc I'd remove it from any domains
(not workgroups) but set a restore point (does win2000 do this?) before
trying.
Just watch what you're doing beforehand so you can reset the domain if it
doesnt work.

Also, have you gone in through network neighbourhood to look at the other
computers to see if their printers show in the shared printers list?

You say you're trying to add printers but failing. Yet you say you were
printing ok until last week. What happened to the old installed network
printers?

Other computers' printers don't show. However, if I go to
the other computers, I can see other printers and print.

Everything was fine last week. I uninstalled and then
tried to reinstall the printers this week.
