I have seen the posts re. others who have the same problem, i.e. web pages
print only 3/4 of page (left to right). One solution offered was use
Landscape vs. Portrait mode. That works, but then you can only print 1/2 to
3/4 page vertically, since paper is now sideways. Windows '98 had no
problems "printing screens" ANY screen. Changing to "landscape" every time
you want to print a screen is tedious. Please send easier fix. Thx.

There is no "easier fix" to printing web pages that were designed to be
viewed but not printed. Complain to the author of the web site.

There are several workarounds. By far the best of these is to use
Firefox or Netscape instead of Internet Explorer, because these browsers
have a "shrink to fit" option from the "print preview" screen. I
understand that IE 7 will have this when it is eventually released.

Several printer manufacturers (notably Canon) include this feature in their
driver package as well.

That is correct Cari, the application is known as Easy-Web Print and it is
a browser extension.

No you can also Fit To Page just using the driver package. I don't have
Easy Web Print installed.

Cari, you are correct but have you seen or used the Easy-Web Print
application? One can print the current web-page being displayed with just
one click of the mouse. Print preview is also available.

Peter
