I am using powerpoint 2000. Why do I have to tell Powerpoint that I am
printing a transparency instead of a Side in Setup. What's the difference
in printing a slide vs a transparencies? What adjustment does Powerpoint
make?

Thanks

Douglas

Hi Douglas,

I don't recall ever being prompted for this in PPT 2000. Does this happen
with every printer or only a certain printer? I think the prompt is coming
from your printer which would handle printing transparencies differently
from printing on paper.

I am not talking about a prompt. Just want to know if I print a overhead,
what would I get if I got to Setup and select On Screen Show instead of
Overhead. I just want to know the printing difference between On Screen
Show and Overhead.

Thanks

There may have been a slight size difference in long-past versions, but there
isn't any longer. I doubt it makes any difference at all nowadays.
