I would like to print a colour text box right to the edge of the page
However, word seems to enforce a small margin.

How do I overcome this restriction?

Thanks

Ala

You can't. The non-printing area is set by the printer driver.

As Graham says, it's not Word that's enforcing the margin but the printer.
Some printers can print closer to the edge than others, and some can print
all the way to the edge. Even with the same printer, you may be able to
print closer to the edge with one driver than another.

As Suzanne and Graham say, it is the limitation of the printer that
restricts the 'border'. However, some - in fact many - newer Photo-printers
are able to make borderless prints and you should be able to force this
feature of the printer driver to achieve the correct results.

Books are generally printed with offset printers and in order to 'bleed' to
the edge of the page, the printing is usually done of the 'next largest'
size of page and then trimmed before binding. It is a very expensive
process.
