Is it possible to print to a file without being prompted for a filename
(assign a static filename when the printer is set up)?

Thanks, Tracey

Yes. Add a local port and use the file name you desire as the port name.
Then simple use that port.

Thanks!
Now I have 1+ question:
Since the file was created in the \WINNT\system32 directory:

Is this a "safe" place or should it be in another directory?
If it should be in another directory, how do I "move" it (or do I re-create
it specifying a full path and filename)?

Thanks, Tracey

Tracey,
how do I "move" it (or do I re-create
it specifying a full path and filename)?

simply specify the full path in the file name and you'll obtain your file
where you want it.
