Hi, i have been having problems printing out some web pages etc, that
is printing them to a pdf document. It usually works fine but some
funkier documents (like web pages) occasionally give me problems. I
was wondering how i can print to a PS file, or BMP, any basic format
that will "print" the page exactly as it shows up on the page or would
show up on a piece of paper.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers

Gaikokujin Kyofusho,

To print to a PostScript file you only need to install a driver for a PS
printer (for example the HP Color LaserJet PS) and set it to print to a
file.

Kind regards,

You can do a screen capture (just hit "shift printscreen", go to a
graphics app, even MSPaint, paste) and print that. But the text will
be grainy and the colour a bit distracting.

You can print to PS by installing a standard PS printer and connecting
its port to "file", then selecting that. Assuming you have Acrobat or
another distiller (eg the free Ghostview), you can use that PS output
file to make a PDF.
