Anyone know of a program that enables the printing of four A4 pages
onto one page?

Serious suggestion - did you check your printer software?

sheet.
hope this helps

You must have an HP printer! Mine is a Canon and I can't find a way to
print more than one on one.

Thanks for the suggestion anyway!

I have a *very* inexpensive Canon and it will print several pages per
sheet. I think yours would too.
When you "print" something, a "Print" box comes up. Select
"Preferences", then "Layout", then "Pages per Sheet". I have never used
this as I have an old version of F...P....., but that' not relevant
here.

I suspect this feature is available on most printers.

o ya still need fineprint ??

DD,

This may be of interest:

- Go to www.adobe.com, search for "postscript printer driver", download
and install one of the generic PostScript drivers for your platform.
This will set up a virtual printer on your machine.

- When printing, choose the generic PostScript printer, and select
number of pages as 4 on the Layout tab of the printer properties dialog.

- Also choose to "Print to file" within the printer properties dialog.
This will create a PostScript image of your printout on your hard disk.
(TIP within a tip: You can only specify the file name, and not the
location of the output file. To save you from launching a search after
writing the file, look first in the program folder of the application
from which you're printing.)

- Use Ghostview or any other PostScript reading software to open the
file, and print it.

- Voila! Output is 4 pages per sheet, as desired.
