Printing set up in Win2000

Something is happening in the set up that when you try to
change the orientation of the print job it will not
actually take the change. The "apply" button is grayed out
and does not function. I have tried changing the driver
and uninstalline and reinstalling the printer and
the "apply" buttom is still not functional. I have done
research and found nothing on this.Does anyone have any
ideas???

Some of the supplied printer drivers do not have all the common whistles and
bells. I usually end up finding the printer mfrs website and downloading the
current drivers.
There is a fair amount of "stuff" in the software that is a result of trying
to maintain some sort of compatability with earlier versions of apps and
drivers. A mismatch between an ops systems version, app and driver can
occur. Even the video drivers can become involved in a printing issue.
