I have upgraded my computer to a Desknote Acer Aspire 1700 and have since installed my Canon scanner. The problem is when printing scanned items, wether it be a document or copy. The quality of the print is terrible, very dotty. I have tried to adjust the dpi and on scan this I can do, but not if I select to just copy
When I first installed the Canon scanner onto the new computer I had trouble and contacted Acer support and Windows support but have not received a reply from either. I did have to download a BIOS fix from Acer???? so I don't know wether it is the computer, the program or the scanner that is the problem
On my old Toshiba 480cdt Laptop with Windows 98 it worked fantastically and I never had a problem with it????? excellent copies etc
