printing reports in color

I am trying to print a report with some of the data in color, but it just comes out black and white. I have a xerox color laser printer, and it will print the same report in color if I print using Word

Go to file -> Page Set Up -> Page tab, and select to use the specific Xerox
printer. Then, click for the printers properties make sure that it is set
to output in color. Save the report, then repeat the process and go back
and select to use the default printer. Save the report.
