Hi,

When I print a page from my web browser, a header and
footer are added to the page thats printed. The header
has 'title' (on left) and 'page x of x' (on the right) and
the footer has url and current date.

Question: Can this stuff be controlled or turned off
using scripting?? (Javascript??) or is the user stuck
modifying these themselves using 'file, print setup'??

You need binary component to make printer "scriptable" - please see
ww.htmlprinting.com for links and docs.
