Lately I have been having a problem on my computer that is
starting to turn into a severe one, since my family needs
to print things for school, etc... My problem is: One day
all the printers on my computer disappeared, and I could
not figure out why all of the sudden they were gone! So I
tried to figure out what happened and I think somehow my
sister deleted them all but I do not know how... So anyways
I go and try to reinstall my printers (2 of which are
networked and 1 that is USB) and I go into "Control Panel"
=> "Printers and Faxes" and then I click on "Add Printer"
on the left column under "Printer Tasks". When I click on
"Add Printer" all that happens is that I get an error
message that says: "Operation could not be completed.". I
am really stumped on this one and I can usually fix these
problems but I need a professionals help this time. I would
be really greatful if someone could help me. Thanks.

From the command prompt, type

sfc /scannow

This will perform a System File Check...... and replace and system files
that have become corrupted. You must also be logged on as an Administrator
or User with Admin Rights in order to be able to install a printer.
