You wouldn't happen to have third party drivers loaded on
your terminal server, would you? Sometimes bad printer
drivers can cause spooler oddities, like what you are
experiencing. You might want to try and remove those
drivers and replace them with drivers from the original
Windows 2000 disk.
Alternatively, you could try editing your ntprint.inf file
and force the terminal server to use the drivers from your
Windows 2000 disk, although it would be better to try this
second after you try the above.

On Windows 2000 sp4 and Windows 2003 Terminal Server the
printers keep having a status of 'Opening'. If we restart
printer spooler service then would be ok but then
intermittently same problem occurs. Now on the Win2000
server this doesn't work. Any advice much appreciated.
