When I print my PP presentation as handouts with three slides per page a line
of garbage (blocks and symbols) prints across the top of the page almost like
it is embedded in the document. I'm at my wits end trying to figure this one
out. Can anybody help?

Tammy,

Is there perhaps something actually written on the document master?

Have a look by doing this

view menu > masters > slide master

repeatedly press the 'tab' key on your keyboard to 'cycle' through all the
objects on the 'slide master'

It may be white text on a white background.

Repeat for the other masters (notes/handouts)

I'm guessing there is a piece of text in a FONT that is not installed on
your PC.

YOU are a lifesaver!! Thank you so very much. It was indeed the header on
the Master Slide that was creating my problem.
Cheers!
