I am having trouble printing Access Database reports to a network printer
giving me the Microsoft message about "MS Access has to close sorry for the
inconvenience please tell MS about this etc etc." the problem is
inconsistent and varies from computer to computer. I have checked all the
code and all seems OK. It prints from my laptop every time and perfectly.
Is this a network problem???? and if so can anyone throw any light on this
problem.
It is slowly driving me crazy.

Hi JT,

Quite a range of possibilities. Just things to check on, maybe others can
add to this:

On machines having the problem:
- Is the problem consistently caused by one report? or just any report?
- Can you reproduce the problem with other software? Word? Excel?
- Can you reproduce the problem printing to a different network printer?
- How is the printer driver installed? Can the printer driver be uninstalled
and reinstalled?
- Can you ensure that the printer driver installed is correct and the most
updated?
- Is it possible to connect the printer directly to the machine having
problem and see if the problem persists with direct connection?

Still, there are other possibilities- if you have separate copies of Front
End running on different machines (i.e. the FE/BE scenario), the report
definition in Access may be corrupted on some machines.
