Hello all,

When I try to print a daily report from Outlook 2003, for a calendar that is
in the public folder, I have the following message:

"this folder cannot be opened because there is a configuration problem on
the server. Contact your Exchange Server administrator for assistance".

1: I have access to the calendar, and can see it on the screen
2: the other reports work just fine (weekly, monthly..)
3: I don't think there is any problem with the printer. I can print the
daily report for my own calendar (not shared)

Any idea on what's going on, and how to fix that bug?

Thank you much for your help

This is not a bug it is a setting you need to fix when
you try to print.

Open Outlook
Select the calendar public folder
Select FILE from the menu
Select PRINT
Select DAILY STYLE
Click the PAGE SETUP... button
On the FORMAT tab uncheck the following in the INCLUDE
area:
TASKPAD

There is no Taskpad associated with the public folder
calendar and therefore cannot print it.

Nikki,

Thanks for the great fix. My only minor comment is that
this is a bug, or at the very least a poor default
setting. Since it appears that this box is checked by
default.

That aside, I really do appreciate your advice!

Thanks, again.
