Help! I have a Canon 550i printer. When we first used it,
it printed great pictures. Now, 6 months later, all our
photos are "Grainy" looking. I've cleaned, and use only
original Canon ink, still no help. Anyone out there having
the same problems?

Sounds like your image files may be low resolution.
What is the file size of one of the images that look
grainy when printed?

Maybe the image quality settings in your camera
were changed by accident.

The picture size ranges from 750KB to 1200KB That's not
too small , is it?

Shouldn't be.... it's just that your use of the
word "grainy" made me think the images
are pixelated. Which would indicate low
resolution.

Have you edited these images in any way?
Do they look clear and sharp on your monitor
screen?
