I have created one report from a fairly simple table called
commission_details. The report is grouped by vendor number and the goal is to
essentially create a separate statement for each vendor. I've got the group
header set up so it works properly, showing at the beginning of each group.
In the footer of each page I want to show Page N of M, where M is the total
number of pages for the particular group rather than the number of pages for
the entire report. I know there has to be a fairly simple way to do this,
but I have been unable to figure it out. I have figured out how to reset the
page number so it starts with one on each vendor change, now I just need the
latter part of the equation solved.
My second question is surrounding a header row for the detail. I would like
the column lables for the detail section to show on every page of the report,
rather than just on the first page. I've tried a few different ways to get
it to work but nothing seems to do the trick.
Help on either of these problems would be appreciated greatly!
Thank you,
