Hi all,
We use Kyocera laser printers at our organisation but often the
on-board network cards for one reason or another. We have tried
connecting up external print servers like the Lexmark Marknet and HP
JetDriect and we can print again to the parallel port!
The problem we get is that after every successful page we get a blank
one with "123456X" in the top left corner. We never had this problem
using the onboard card.
Just to make life harder we have to set the Kyocera printer's
emulation to Epson LQ-850 for it to work correctly with our UNIX
system.
Could someone throw any light on why a printer would output a blank
page with 12345X after every successful page? Maybe someone who knows
about printing languages.
