OK... so I need Access for dummies....
I have report with multiple invoices (Primary Key is InvoiceID)... I want to
be able to print only one invoice at a time... I am a novice with access and
read some of the othe comments on how to do it... i.e. but I just dont get
it... is there anyone who can walk me through this... or does anyone know of
a better way....

Never mind...I did a "back door" approach... in my form where I create the
invoice, I just added a command button "print" and then in the properties in
display I said "screen only" so that when I printed the invoice, all my other
commands did not appear....Just the invoice information....

Printing from the screen is kind of a funky way to do
things. Far better is to create a report that your command
button can be used to open. If you need help getting the
report to print just one invoice post back with more details
and we'll see what we can do.

It isnt as funky as it sounds...really...the purpose the database is to track
our church media ministry...it is designed primarly to track inventory. The
invoice is just a secondary add on...when someone requests a CD or CD package
we just want to be able to create an invoice and have a record of it. No
money or payments are tracked through that department. I am new to Access
and self taught and everything that I have read so far about printing just
one page of a report has been way over my head...OpenRecord
Where...etc...most books dont seem to touch on this...or I am just reading
the wrong material...

Dorry, but I'm not the one to recommend Access books for
beginners. The few I've read are very afvanced.

But, what the hey, it your app and if you're happy, it's
good enough. Just keep my comment about using a report
instead of screen printing a form in mind next time you need
to print some data.

Trust me, I will...and in the meantime I will continue to seek out a step by
step guide "for dummies" on how to do this...
