Printing on XP to HP 952c

I could not print to the HP 952c, but solved the problem
by disabling the print spooler.

Any idea why I can't use the print spooler with XP and
HP952c?

Well, if you really "disabled" the print spooler service (Computer Manager,
Applications and Services, Services), you wouldn't be able to print
anything!

Do you mean you selected "Print directly to the printer" in the printer's
Properties, Advanced page?
