In the training div. of the fire dept. we would like to
print student information, class title, dates etc. on the
fancy certificates provided by the association sponsoring
the class. What is the best way to get all of the
information to line up correctly on the cirtificates? I
used M.S. Word and got close but it took forever.

Thanks for your help,
Steve

Try the following in Word(Word 2000):
1. Open a new document, click Tools from the main menu
bar, select Envelopes & Labels
2. Click on the Labels tab
3. Click the Options button. If your certificates came
with standard settings, select that from the drop-down.
If not, click the Details button to customize.

Personally I like to use a drawing program such as CorelDraw. Thi
allows me to place my text exactly where I want it.

I personally use a drawing program such as Corel Draw in such cases.
This allows me to place my text where I want it, anywhere on the page.
I find it a lot faster than using Word. While I use Corel Draw, abou
any drawing program will work such as Adobe Illustrator or even th
drawing program within Open Office.
