I have multiple PPT files. I want to open Explorer, highlight them, and print
them from Explorer. However, when they print, I want them to print in Notes
View, not in Slide View.

How can I set the invidual ppt files so that Notes View is the default print
setting?

Haven't tried this, but:

Tools, Options, Print tab
Under "Default Print Settings for this Document"
Choose "Use the following Print Settings"
Select the print options you want.
Click OK and then save the presentation.

Add another feather to your cap. Are we keeping track of settings that stick
with the presentation vs. the system? Tools > Options > Print settings travel
with the presentation.

Yes, most definitely. And they can play hob with macros that automate printing
processes of one sort or another, since they override whatever the macro says to
do. Wanna see the scars? ;-)
