Trying to print excel spreadsheets with a very large
number of columns (up to 400) onto an HP Designjet 800
Plotter using landscape layout. When using the "Fit to
Page" or enlarging it over 180%, the columns on the end
get cut off. We are using a customized paper size of 24"
x 60" or 24" x 90". It cuts the worksheet off at the 60"
length even if it is set to print to 90". We have tried
updating drivers, increasing maximum font size to 1000 in
the plotter properties. We were able to print the full
spreadsheet by changing the fonts, but that is not a
viable option; as these spreadsheets are coming from many
sources and need to be left as is.Is this an excel
limitation that it can't print over 60" wide, or is there
another solution. Thanks for any help you could give.

Sorry, didn't mean to mail personally, clicked the wrong box,

Not completely sure if I understand you, but XL only has facilities for
column A to column IV ie 256 columns, perhaps you could transpose the data
to rows which has a max of 65536 rows,

Amada,

Let me throw a few questions in here, for what its worth...
Have you tried setting a print area?
Have you checked to see if a print area is set?
In PageSetUp, when you set to print pageswide, do you also set the pages
tall?

Also, I believe that you would be talking to the same people if you post to
the Excel printing group.

Jim,

Thank you for helping me out, I appreciate any input you
could give. Yes, we have tried setting a print area and
that didn't work. We just had a suggestion from a
coworker to try setting the "Fit to" to 1 page wide by
NULL tall. We are in the process of trying that now.

Thanks again,
Amanda
