Some of my JPG files print ok and others do not,
been thru "folder options" and everything seems ok.
Any clues?

You need to tell more about what "ok and others do not" means. For example,
what is wrong with those which do not print OK? Not at all? Color off?
And so on.
Jim

JPGs do not usually "print" by themselves. What you get on paper depends on
the program doing the printing. Try a different viewing/printing program.

Internet Explorer is not a good program for JPGs. Neither is Media Player.
Try a free program like Irfanview or FreshView or maybe Paint.Net. Or, try
a commercial product like Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro.

Look for options like print-to-fit, scaling, etc. Most of these programs
can also "fix" JPGs for things like contrast, color balance, etc.

Hi JIM,
some not printing at all, I get an error message,
"MS Photo Editor not responding". I also tried w/ Picture & Fax Viewer
and get the same error message. cheers-Herb.

Well, sounds like those JPEG files are corrupted so they are no longer in a
recognizable valid format. Were they originally compressed, perhaps with
yEnc (which is an unreliable compression scheme)?

Hi Jim,
found the problem. Seems that the resolution was way to high for PhotoEd
to open it quickly. I brought the res. way down in properties, and VOILA!
Thanx for ur consideration.
