I have an issue trying to print a web page from IE. Print Preview also
doesn't come up. It flashes for a second then nothing. The only way I can
print a web page is to hold down the Ctrl key and click "Print" from the
drop-down menu in IE. If I try and just click print, nothing happens. Has
anyone seen this before? I've tried looking on the Web and tried a few
things in KB articles but to no avail. I've also tried this with 2 different
HP printers as well. No luck. I have a Dell Dimension 4600C. Please let me
know. Thanx in advance,

Eric

Hmmm, one thing that may work, would be to go to view, encoding and turn off
autoselect. Having that option enabled can cause weird problems.

The fact that you need to hold down the ctrl key is unusual. Does the
dropdown menu work without pressing the ctrl key? I have seen instances
where the drop down menu will work but the button won't before.

This may help:

There is also this unhelpful article, which says the problem may be caused
by making changes in the Page Setup dialogue box:
