Hi,

I am wondering if its possible to print on a workgroup Anonymously? I got a
Windows 2000 pro workstation with a network printer attached to it. I want
other workstation to send print requests to this machine but everytime it
prompts me for username/password or I need to setup every logon the same.

In Windows XP I have no problem in printing in a workgroup/anonymous. Is
there a registry hack or something that I could do that everyone could print
on that shared printer?

On the Win2K PC, create local user account(s), with non-blank
password(s), that have the desired access privileges to the desired
shares. Log on to the other PCs using those account(s), and you will be
able to access the designated shares, provided your network is
configured properly.
