Printing in Windows Mail Vista switches to Browser etc

I have checked all printer settings, checked settings in IE8 and Win/Mail.
There seems to be a problem when printing in WinMail, when I print a message
my email window flip flops over to another window, ie8 or excel which ever it
chooses. My other email program does not do this, when printing a message
with the other program I hit Ctrl P and the email stays there. WinMail I hit
the same thing and instead of keeping my email showing on the screen it
switches to my browser or excel which I have open just about all the time.
Please help.
