Printing in "reverse order" problem

Running Windows XP and Word 2002. My printer: Epson Color Stylus Photo 925.

Since I do a lot of book material, I've always been able to print in
"reverse order". I use Word as my text editor for everything, including the
web.

My problem: The only area I can print in "reverse order" is on the Web. I
have everything checked that I can find, and....I still can't print "reverse
order" while using the Word program off-line...only the while connected to
the Internet. I've checked the one option I found to print in "reverse
order" in the Word program but nothing seems to help. Could there be
something that I may have missed? Yes I have checked the option on the
printer and in control/printer properties. Help!!!

The answer may depend on what you mean by "I have checked the option on the
printer and in control/printer properties." If you mean that you have the
printer set to print in reverse order, then if you also tell Word to print
in reverse order, the two commands cancel each other out. Do one or the
other.

Not sure if this is a problem, but you need to check
"reverse order" in either WORD options OR printer
options. If you check both, you get a double reverse,
or no change at all.

Gee, Suzanne! I was hoping you'd still be up. I usually get to bed around
2:00 am. But,...what the heck, I'm retired and can sleep all morning if I
want to. Six hours sleep is enough for me. Boy did I get OT. Arrgh!

Anyway, as usual I always expect to get a correct solution from you and I
thank you so much for your love for your work.

Thank you also, Marvin! Your answer was right on, also. I'm printing in
"reverse order" all over the place now.

Thanks a million!!!!

Very best regards,
Bill

For what it is worth, BillyBob (one word in the South, right?),
I have an Epson 925, too. Its driver gives me fits. Reverse
Order won't stay checked. Have the latest driver. Also have
an Epson C82 for faster text printing. C82 driver recognizes
Reverse order preference. Go figure.

Interesting news about Reverse Order in Word/printer
options canceling out each other. Hmmmm.

Glad that helped!

Well Joseph, I unchecked one of them and now it prints "reverse order" just
fine. I've never used anything but Epson printers, but I've never had this
problem before. Has to be the driver. Damned Gremlins!!!
