Printing HTML e-mails

I use an HTML e-mail template that grabs graphics files from my server and downloads them when the mail is received. However, even when I send mails to myself I can't print the graphics that appear on my screen. All I get is the graphics boxes with the red crosses. I am sure I used to print these with no problem so i guess a setting has changed. Any ideas?
 
What version of Outlook?

I came here to find the same question answered. I have Outlook 2000 version 9.0.0.271
