In my wrksht there is a cell range that is highlighted
with a background autofill color(it is intended to
indicate to the user to enter data). We would like to
print the worksheet without the background. Is there an
option or vba syntax?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks-----Jeff

What is often done in such situations is to change the background formatting
to conditional formatting. Make it depend on the value in a spare cell
somewhere outside the print area in which you put, say, 0 or 1. Then you can
just change this number when you want to print (thus removing the background
colour) and change it back afterwards.
