printing hell in termserv

Why can't we get printing to work in termserv? I want to
setup termserv on a W2K server with W2K Pro clients so
that their default local printers are used autmatically by
termserv. I've set RDP-Tcp Properties/Client settings
to "Default to main client printer" but I'm still getting
no printer connection. Any tips on what could be getting
in the way here?
 
Actually Mark, anyone we try. I'm using RDP 5.00 client,
128 bit encryption. My boss wasn't happy with the newer
version.
 
When you say their local printers, do you mean their home
printers when using the office TS?
If so, not possible unless you show them how to :
a) Share their home printer to webmap a new printer in

.....sorry....finger slipped on other post......

Uh, yes, I was saying show them how to share their home
printer to web, then map to that web-printer from within
the TS session.

To TS, the client printer is what is sees through your
office Gateway, which will only be the office queue.

To print from home in TS all you have to do is add the
persons home printer to the TS server make it a local
printer and if you look in Teminal services manager you
will see the person's logon and connect ie someone
connection ts004 When you add their home printer to the
server you can choose the local printer port called ts004
and they will be able to print to their home printers
while connected. I have done this and it works!
