On the print dialog box (File | Print...) there is an option for 'Print
Hidden Slides'. This will hide the hidden slides on a hand-out also.
Hidden slides are not advanced into from non-hidden slides in a PowerPoint
show.
Hidden slide can be printed (or not) by using the option on the print
dialog.
