We are having increasing problems when printing from xp
to our kyosera fs1010. It prints plain uncomplicated
documents but as soon as it has any complex tables
spreadsheets etc it doesn't print. It will only print the
simple data. Any one had this same fault that could help.

You might be best off trying a LaserJet III driver. Also have a look at how
much memory the printer has, I seem to remember some of the cheap Kyo's
didn't have much memory as standard.

Jo, not much help but having similar prob. FS1010 is shared from
Win98SE machine. All 98/ME/W2k machines are fine, but the XP machine
takes about 2 minutes to spool the job & then print it. Problem was
worse last week when KCNTUI.DLL was crashing outlook. Have tried ALL
the kyocera drivers to no avail. Tonight I'm going to try & print
straight to LPT1, failing that I'm going to install a print server &
see if that does any good, failing that rebuild the XP machine. Doh.

Jo, tried everything last night, but looks like sharing from a Win98
machine isn't an option. Works fine straight from LPT1 & from a W2k
machine. I'm going to rebuild the Win98 machine with W2k, as can't see
any other options. Good luck. Paul.
