Hi,

We have a network that uses Windows 2003 server domain, we also have
two network printers (HP and Canon) which are connected to the network
via TCP/IP (They have their own IP address).

We are able to print to these printer from the server and the
workstations.

We are having an issue with onw Windows XP Home laptop. I setup the
network printer on that laptop (as local printer with TCP/IP port), but
when I try to print to the network printer I get error messages that
the pages did not print.

I checked the setting of the printer port sna it is identical to the
other workstation, I am able to ping the IP address of the printer. I
am able to to open the web page of the printer http://printerip

So I am not sure why the Windows XP Home laptop is not printing to the
printer. I have to correct drivers.

Any ideas?
