I think I read somewhere that there is a little trick to
print the contents of a directory as displayed in Windows
Explorer, but I can't remember how. Can someone tell me?

The simplest way to do it is to open a "dos" window (Start | All
Programs | Accessories | Command Prompt) or (Start | Run | cmd.com) and
use a DOS command such as dir > prn If you do this, you probably will
have to manually eject the page from the printer. Remember to type
"exit" (without quotes) to close the command prompt window.

If you want to be fancier, search for "print directory" in Help and
Support. You should find article Q321379 that explains how add a
directory printing capability to XP
