Printing from web page causes computer to cold reboot

Windows 2000 professional
Service Pack 4
All updates
Brand new vanilla install.
Internet Explorer 6 with SP1
HP Laserjet 2200DTM

This happens with all computers in the office, these computers have Windows
2000 Pro.

This problem does not occur with Firefox.

I will try to print inside of Internet Explorer and it tries to print goes
to the Printer Status screen...cold reboot.

No warning, nothing.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

as you said it happens on " all computers in the office" ..So I guess it
could be
problem with the
1) printer driver.
2) By chance you have installed NT drivers on 2K
3) use another browser like Netscape and print and look for error.

If still face the problem, you can take the memory dump from
"Startup and recovery" option on System properties and send it to
Printer vendor.
