printing from notepad

every time I try to print from note pad I get message "parameters incorrect"
Am running Vista and using Epson C60 with latest update for drivers. what
should i do?

Check the paper size in Notepad - File, Page Setup...

Check the paper size in the Epson print prog...

Check the physical paper size...

Are they all the same?

Thanks for the thought...
have checked and all 3 are A4 210x297
but this did lead me to the Epson status monitor which shows "parameter
incorrect" so i'm wondering if this has been the problem all along?
Am going to investigate...
