printing from laptop wo connection/using router

How can I set up my laptop to print wothout hooking into my printer? My
printer is hooked up to my desktop. Is there a way to set up the laptop
toprint withour having to hook directly into the printer as there is only
one port anyway? help please

If you have a home network, share the printer from the Printers and Faxes
folder on the system to which it is connected. Then on the laptop, add a
network printer, browsing to the UNC of the shared printer.
