Hi,
Hopefully the correct support group.

Desktop running Win XP Home. Hard wired to a wireless hub.

Laptop running Win Vista. Wireless card.

I want to be able to print from the laptop to a USB printer connected to my
desktop wirelessly.

Could some kind soul explain how it is done.
Thanks in advance.

Basic issue........

Go to the computer with the printer

Go to printer properties

Enable the printer to be shared

Then go to the laptop and install printer and use the browse for
network printer ..... that's it

This assumes your computer are both on the same IP family and share the
workgroup

If you're using Vista Home Basic, your laptop will not print wireless...it
will, of course, work with a USB cable.

Thank you Paul,
In fact I could not get the laptop to print except by connecting a USB
cable. Traumadocs remedy did not work. Maybe the fact that the printer is
now "old" ( Epson 680) and I cannot get Vista drivers for it may have
something to do with the problem. I really wanted a remote wireless solution
but apparently will have to settle for the hardwired USB. Unless someone
knows of another way.
Thanks for your time.
