I have a couple machines that print very lightly even set
at "best" setting on an HP 895Cse. When I print from
other machines on normal quality it comes out just fine.
When I print from the problem machines on normal, barely
any ink comes out and you can't even see the print out.

What gives?

Thanks,
Tom

Tom,

Try to re-install the proper printer driver.
If possible clean the old printer -DLLs/reg ksys

Hth,

Hi,
I've gone to HP's site to reinstall printer drivers, but
with the same results. How can I "clean the old printer?"
Thanks,
Tom

The best way to clean out your printer subsystem is to user the Cleanspl
utility from the Windows Server 2003 Resource Kit (the tool works on 2000
as well)
