Printing fax slows my computer

Sometimes When I try to print my fax, the printing wizard response slows to a
screaching halt and it in turn slows my computer also, but other times it
works fine. Any suggestions to trouble shoot this scenaio will help me a lot
as I print lot of faxes from my computer while working.
 
What make and model printer is this and how is it connected to the PC?
(USB/LPT/Other)
 
Hi , This is HP 2410 all in one copier scanner, printer and it is connected
to my pc via usb.
