Printing Banners with Epson 740 under Windows 2000

They seem to have gotten rid of the banner option in the Windows 2000
driver?

I found a support issue on the Epson website and something in google groups
but it only talks about Windows 95/98 stuff... Anyone have any ideas? Seems
like a long shot, I know.

I'm using the driver that Windows 2000 detected when I hooked up the
printer. It doesn't have a custom paper size as far as I can tell. The
driver on the website is dated in 2001 -- I didn't want to install it and
risk messing anything up. Not sure if the two are the same.

Thanks for any help.

User defined paper size is allowed up to 44 inches long. You set the
length yourself. Click on the paper tab, in the paper size box scroll
down to user defined, set the paper height in hundredths of an inch.
This is on the windows 2000 driver downloaded from Epson and not off the
windows CD. Your mileage may vary.

OK cool thanks... I guess the windows driver is not up to date, even though
the latest driver is pretty old. Now where can I get banner paper? : )

thanks,
Andy

Just use the old FAN Fold computer paper but remove the tractor feed
edges. That is what Office Depot sells for too much money, as banner
paper.
